This name is recorded in Sharon Fehr's research. All internet sources I found listed Thomas Ruggles' wife as Margery Dandridge. However, they are listed as being married in June, 1584, and Florence Ruggles was born about 1582 - so it may be that Margaret Whitlock was a first wife and mother to some of the children. Thomas' son, Thomas, is listed as being born in 1584, too. Could it be that he was Margaret's son and that she died (in child birth?) and that Thomas had already remarried by the end of the year? Or is there only one wife and at least one birth "preliminary" to their actual marriage?
