Some online family trees claim that Thomas Daniell, Sr., of Over Tabley was the father of Roger Daniel, l. There is no known source for this claim. For a well-researched website that DOES NOT show that Thomas Daniels had a son Roger, see this page:

http://www.deloriahurst.com/deloriahurst%20page/1184.html

In addition, the Royal, Titled, Noble, Commoners website does not show a son Roger for Thomas Daniels:

All of Roger Daniel's male descendants have SNP A11115, which is in the I2 haplogroup. The descendants of Thomas Daniel are haplogroup R1b. Therefore Thomas is NOT the father of Roger.
