About Margaret Faust
This is the Witches Tower in Babenhausen, Germany where my 11th great grandmother Margaret Nin (1545-1597), was imprisoned. She was accused of being a Witch because she had lost an eye. She explained to the court that she lost her eye in Lorbach when a piece of falling lantern hit her in the eye. Despite this, the court sentenced her to torture by having her tongue ripped out for lying. On July 2, 1597 Margaret had hung herself in the Witches Tower in Budignen Castle.
