About Margaret Frances Keleher
John Joseph Keleher of Prattah and Margaret Frances Killeen, of Deuchar, were married at St. Mary's Church, Warwick by Father Potter assisted by the Fr. G. Murphy, Toowoomba, cousin of the bride groom.
Margaret wore a beautiful gold brooch, the gift of the bridegroom and looked charming in a white moussoline silk dress with wreath and veil and spray of orange blossoms.
She entered the church on the arm of her brother, John Killeen, who gave her away, attended by three brides maids, Nora. Killeen (chief), and Sarah. Killeen, sisters, and Susan Keleher, sister of the bride groom wore white silk dresses and a lovely gold brooch, gift of the bridegroom. Michael J. KeIeher, brother of the bridegroom, acted the part of best man. The bride's gift to the bridegroom was a pair of solid gold sleevelinks. The wedding breakfast at the Cafe Victoria followed with a three tier bride's cake. The happy couple left by mail train for a Brisbane honeymoon. Margaret travelled in green voile dress with hat to match. They settled at the West Talgai farm, a wedding present from the Keleher’s.
