From findagrave NEW ALBANY TRIBUNE OBITUARY – 02/26/1951 - LANESVILLE Mrs. Margaret Benson Geswein, 55, died Sunday at her home in Lanesville. She was the wife of Christie Geswein and other relatives include four daughters, three sons, and a sister. The body is at the residence in Lanesville. The funeral will be Tuesday at 8:30 a.m. in St. Mary's Church in Lanesville, with burial in the cemetery there.
CORYDON DEMOCRAT OBITUARY – 02/28/1951 Mrs. Margaret Geswein, 55, wife of Christie Geswein died Sunday morning at three o'clock at her home near Lanesville. Mrs. Geswein had been ill of a heart ailment. Mrs. Geswein was a daughter of Albert and Anna Seipel Benson. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at 8:30 o'clock at St. Mary's Catholic Church, conducted by the Rev. Warren Womack. Burial was in the church cemetery. Besides her husband, Christie Geswein, she leaves three sons and four daughters, Chester, Alfred and Willard Geswein, Mrs. Ruth Harbeson and Miss Joyce Geswein, all of Lanesville; Mrs. Mildred Gleason of Jeffersonville and Mrs. Alice Ott of Detroit. She also leaves eight grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Herman Walter of Georgetown.
