Margaret Phelps Green

Margaret Phelps WILLIAMS 1, 2 was born on 16 Jul 1836 in Pomfret, Windham Co., Connecticut. She died after Jan 1926. Margaret married Samuel Fiske GREEN Dr. 1 on 22 May 1862 in Worcester, Massachusetts. Samuel died on 28 May 1884 in Worcester, Massachusetts. Samuel was employed as in 1847/1873 in Medical Missionary in Ceylon.

She is listed as the aunt of Frederick Sweetser Lane on the certificate on his death abroad, in Sao Paulo, Brazil, on January 18, 1926; she is residing at 126 Garden Street, Hartford, Connecticut.

My mother, Anne R. Dick, daughter of Arthur Williams, remembers that she was shown the Williams family bible once when visiting an aunt who was a Green, while on a car trip. [Hatte Blejer] Since my mother was born in 1927, it has to be children of Margaret Phelps Green who she visited.
