- Sir James Harington was born circa 1447 at of Old Hall, Lancashire, Wolfage & Brixworth, Northamptonshire, England; Age 40 in 1487.3 He married Isabella Radcliffe, daughter of Sir Alexander Radcliffe and Agnes Harington, between 14 September 1459 and 1465; They had 1 son (William) & 10 daughters (Agnes, wife of Thomas Ashton; Elizabeth, wife of John Lumley; Alice, wife of Ralph Standish, Esq; Margaret, wife of Chritopher Hulton; isabel, wife of John Tresham; Eleanor, wife of John Leicester; Joan (Janet), wife of Edmund Ashton, Esq; Anne, wife of Sir William Stanley; Clemnce, wife of Henry Norrys, Esq; & Katherine, wife of William Mirfield).6,2,3,4,5 Sir James Harington died on 26 June 1497.3 His estate was probated on 6 March 1498.3
