About Margaret Jean Pearson

Buried Sunset Hills Cemt. in the LDS section. Bellevue, WA. One of her friends read a few of mom's poems & a few other long time friends spoke. After days of gloomy weather it became sunny & such was mentioned as this 'being fitting for Margaret'. It was a 'fitting' slow ride thru May Valley, past our road to the home we were raised as we ventured to the cemetery. Everyone noted upon seeing Margaret how they admired her. Her granddaughter stated, 'she looks like a Princess'. Mom had long wanted to see her Dobbyn grandparents again (heaven). She & Dad were in the hospital @ the same time (separate rooms); dad having been there first. It was hard for my mother to deal with the stroke of my father. I remember her going into his room prior to her own admit stating, 'I'll remember you...if you remember me.' When my dad was advised of her death he stated, 'how will I live without her'. When the dr. phoned & told me she had passed I felt arms literally holding me...comforting, but confusing as the dr. spoke. Say what you will...I will NEVER deny that feeling of being held. The dr. said they tried 3 times to bring her back without success. Truth was...mom said she 'did not want to be left behind without her husband'. The spirit is very strong. Mom proved that by leaving. Her gravestone states 'Angel in Flight' after one of her poems. |
