Margaret Kennedy

A daughter of the late Jeremiah and Bridget Luby Kennedy.
She was united in marriage to George Nortz, October 14, 1879.
To this union were born twelve children of which the following six sons and three daughters survive besides the husband: Raymond S. Nortz, Vincent Nortz, of this village; Norbert and Emmett, of Syracuse; Hilary, of Belfort; Anthony, of Taylorville; Mrs. Leo Monnat, of this village; Mrs. Otto Hayes and Mrs. William Robb, of Syracuse. The following three having died: Miss Ulena Nortz, age 17, July 31, 1896; Pauline, an infant, 1908; Mrs. Ada Muth, January 18, 1924. There also survive 34 grandchildren; two sisters,
Mrs. Mary Foster, of Nucla, Colo., and Mrs. Anna Denin, of Brockway, Pa., two brothers, William Kennedy, of Salamanca, N. Y. and Thomas Kennedy, of Galeton, Pa.
