Mrs. Margaret Lasher, widow of Ephriam Lasher, died Saturday, August 2, 1941 at 11:30 p.m., in the home of her son, Ross Lasher, of Adrian. She was aged 87 years, and was one of the most highly respected and well loved citizens of her community. Besides her son, Ross, she is survived by two daughters; Mrs. Joseph O. Wolfe and Mrs. Henry Cousins, both of Adrian; one sister, Mrs. J. H. Wyant, Kittanning; 16 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held in Limestone Church of God, Adrian, of which she was a lifelong member, Tuesday, August 5, at 2:30 p.m. (DST), in charge of Rev. Joel W. Cock of Templeton. Interment will be made in the adjoining cemetery.

Margaret (Lasher) Lasher, widow of Ephraim Lasher, aged 87 years, 11 months and 23 days of Adrian, RD 1 died in Washington Township at 11:28 p.m. Mrs. Lasher a housewife, was born August 9, 1853 in Pennsylvania, the daughter of Daniel Lasher and Catherine Frick. Funeral arrangements were in charge of Walter G. Snyder of Cowansville, burial was made August 5, 1941 in Limestone. Information provide by her son Ross Lasher.

Correction: Subtracting 87Y, 11M, & 23D's from August 2, 1941 you arrive at the date August 10, 1853. Also her stone has the date of birth of 1854. She would have to have been born in 1854 as her brother Isaiah was born October 1, 1853 a difference of just 21 days between births.
