When her mother was convicted and sentenced to transportation to Australia, Margaret and her siblings and father arrived in Sydney Cove on 12/6/1801 on "Earl Cornwallis" as free settlers.
Margaret married Thomas LAYCOCK on 8/7/1817 Sydney and they had the following children

- Elias Pearson 1821
Margaret died 1824
