About Margaret Ramsay
On August 20th Margaret married J.S. Ramsay and they lived just a mile east of Deer Grove. They were there until the fall of 1896 when they built a house in Lumsden and moved in. Margaret gave meals and had boarders for a few years. In 1899 Jack Ramsay died and left Margaret with Beth and Beattie. They had gotten the Post Office about two years before. They lived in that house until 1915. Margaret died in May, 1917 and Beth Carried on the Post Office until her death.
