According to her death certificate Margaret (Fishel) Raymond's father's name was Samuel Gullen/Mullen. Samuel Gullen/Mullen may have been her stepfather, as this family always knew Margaret Raymond's maiden name as "Fishel" not Gullen/Mullen. EDIT: Fishel was husband Frank's former name The death certificate also lists Margaret (Fishel) Raymond's address as 1115 Federal St., Pittsburgh, PA, her SS# as 209-10-8728 (or possibly 209-10-8228), and also correctly confirms Frank H. Raymond (Margaret's son) as the death informant.
The death certificate also lists Margaret (Fishel) Raymond's mother's maiden name as Margaret Paul.
Burial: 31 Jul 1954, Calvary Cemetery, Hazelwood Ave, Pittsburgh, PA, USA.
Margaret (Fishel) Raymond is not listed in the SS Death Index.
Margaret (Fishel) Raymond's birth date and age as listed on the death certificate has a discrepancy with the 1930 US Federal Census which lists her age at about 39 (instead of 42 as given on her death certificate) and therefore her birthdate as approximately 1891 (instead of 1888 as given on her death certificate).
Occupation on the death certificate is listed as: Maintenance worker at People's First National Bank?

---
Margaret was called "Nanny" by her grandchildren, and worked as a nurse for many years. It was said that this family changed their name from Malinowski (in Poland) to Mullen when they arrived in the USA. We are still trying to determine how the Fishel name (which is listed as her maiden name) fits into this picture.
She was fluent in several languages: Polish, Yiddish, French, and English.
"As I was told by my mother and Uncle Doc (Walter Spill), Malinowski(sky) was the name of Nanny's family from Poland. After awhile, they changed it to Mullen. I believe Malinowski was on her birth certificate. Nanny then married Urkevich and had Marie and Claire. He died and she was a widow for awhile. She married a Mechanical Engineer named (Fredrick? - Frank?) Fishel. They changed the name to Raymond, due to the anti-German sentiment at the time from World War One. All the other girls and uncle Bud were 'Raymond'."
