About Margaret Ann Reis
Fifth child of John Herman and Anna Margaret Brandt Hinrichsen,Sr. Married April 8, 1925 to Omer Francis Reis. Mother of Robert L. Reis. Marge worked at Armour Packing House and Crown Products. She was a hard worker and they always had a large garden. She was a very good cook and made some of the best dill pickles ever ate. She loved flowers and kept it real neat around her home.
MARGARET A. REIS
Margaret A. (ne Hinrichsen) Reis was born in Omaha, Nebraska, on October 25, 1904, the daughter of John and Anna (nee Brandt) Hinrichsen. She was raised and educated on Omaha.
On April 8, 1925, she was wed to Omer Francis Reis. This marriage was blessed with one son, Robert. Her husband and son preceded her in death.
Margaret was known for her quiet joy, and spirit of kindness. It was difficult for her in her later years to have to leave her home to enter Huntington Park Nursing Home where she lived until her death, August 18, 1989.
A faithful member of Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church, she will be laid to rest in Fairview Cemetery in Papillion, Nebraska, following services of worship at Beautiful Savior on August 21, 1989.
She is survived by her sisters Elizabeth Olsen, and Anna Griffin, both of Omaha, and also many nephews and nieces.
Margaret was preceded in death by her brothers John and Henry, and sisters Marie, Christine, Minnie and Anna.
