Sheila "Sheilie" Chisholm, an Australian, one of the great society beauties of the 1920s and 1930s, She married Lord Loughborough (Loughie), heir to the Earl of Rosslyn, at Cairo, in 1915, as he convalesced after being wounded at Gallipoli. Sheilie soon became part of the 'Duchess of Sutherland's Set' in London society, and became very close to the Prince of Wales (later Edward VIII) and his mistress, Freda Dudley Ward.
Sheilie was particularly close to the young Prince Albert, Duke of York, before his engagement to Lady Elizabeth Bowes Lyon.
Loughie, like his father Lord Rosslyn, was addicted to gambling and alcohol, and the Loughboroughs divorced in 1926. She married 2ndly, in 1928, Sir John Milbanke, 11th Baronet, and died in 1969.
