Margaret Stewart, here treated married first to John Hamilton of Ferguslie. [A History of the House of Hamilton: 681] According to the late A. Francis Steuart, John Hamilton was the bastard son of Allam Hamilton of Ferguslie, and they were married in Ireland on 10 March 1619. The Scots Peerage II: 169
