Marguerite de Valois (1295-1342) est la troisième fille de Charles de France, comte de Valois et de sa première femme Marguerite d'Anjou.

Elle épouse en 1310 Guy Ier de Châtillon, comte de Blois, dont elle aura trois enfants:

1) Louis Ier († 1346), comte de Blois, de Dunois et de Fréteval

2) Charles de Blois (1319 † 1364), duc de Bretagne,

3) Marie (1323 † 1363) qui en 1334 épouse en premières noces Raoul, duc de Lorraine puis en secondes noces Fréderic Comte de Linanges (Leiningen).

Guy I of Blois-Châtillon (died August 12, 1342), son of Hugh II of Châtillon and Beatrix of Dampierre, was count of Blois and lord of Avesnes 1307–1342.

In 1310, he married Marguerite of Valois, daughter of Charles of Valois and sister of Philip VI of France. They had three children:

Louis I of Châtillon (d. 1346)

Charles of Blois (d. 1364)

Marie, married in 1334 Rudolph, Duke of Lorraine (d. 1346), married secondly Frederick VII, Count of Leiningen-Dagsburg.

In 1310, she married Guy I, Count of Blois. They had three children together:
