Margaret

It appears that the Geoffrey de Cheadle, who was the father of Geoffrey and Roger, should be married to a Margaret/Margery. At least, as his last wife, who survived him.

Margaret 1 was born 1253 in Cheadle, Cheshire, England. She married Sir Geoffrey de CHEDLE Knight on 1269 in Cheadle, Cheshire, England.

They had the following children:

• M i Geoffrey de DUTTON 1 was born 2 1270 in Cheadle, Cheshire, England. He died 3 1296 in Cheadle, Cheshire, England.
• M ii Sir Roger de CHEDLE Knight was born 1273 and died 1327.

"Cheadle, Margaret, who was the wife of Geoffrey de" [4]

"Cheadle, Margery, who was the wife of Geoffrey de" [5]

However, there is a Geoffrey, in the Chedle line, that does marry Agnes de Massy, but she also survives her husband.
