Mary (Chudleigh) Wise was a member of aristocracy in England.

Margareta Maria (or Maria Margareta) Chudleigh was the eldest daughter of Sir James Chudleigh and his wife, Margaret, daughter of Lord Stourton. They married in "Anno 15, Edward IV: 1476," according to Burke's genealogy.[1]

Apparently, Margareta Maria was called Mary as that is the name used when she married John Wise, Esquire, ca. 1498. They lived in Sydenham, Devonshire, and nearby Cornwall, Great Britain. They had one child:

James Wise, b. ca. 1500 in Sydenham, Devonshire, England.

John Wise died when his son was still an infant, around 1502. Mary Chudleigh Wise lived until about 1530 when she died on the family estates in nearby Cornwall. It is not known if she remarried or had other children than her son, James Wise.

Note: "Sir James Chudleigh, knight, married, first Margaret, daughter to the Lord William Stourton, and had issue William, Margaret, wife to John Wise, of Sydenham, Devon; secondly Margaret, daughter of John Tremayn, the relict of Oliver Wise, and had issue Robert, John."[2]
