From the marriage of Philip V with Mary of Béthune, a daughter, Margaret, was born, who became heiress to the seigniory of Loker even during her parents' lifetime. She was first married to Jan van Stavele, knight, lord of Izegem and Gullegem, son of Willem and Margriete van Heule, heir of Izegem, Emelgem and Gullegem. Jan van Stavele was previously married to Katherina van Grysperre, daughter of Jan, and in second marriage to Marguerite d'Antoing, daughter of Henri, lord of Plessiet, and of Maria of Clery, heiress of Haveskerke, Estaires, etc.

Margareta van Maldeghem later married Geerard van Uitkerke, knight, lord of Heestert, son of Lieven and Adelise Vandewael. From that marriage two children were born: 1° lsabeau van Uitkerke, who became the wife of Roeland van Halewijn, only son of Olivier, lord of Heemsrode, and of Johanna van Vuerhoute. Roeland van Halewijn had a son, Cornelis, who died in 1418 without offspring. 2° Roeland van Uitkerke, lord of Heestert, Nieuborgh and Heemsrode, councillor and chamberlain of Duke Philip the Good of Burgundy and admitted to his Order of the Golden Fleece as a knight in Bruges on January 10, 1429. He married Margaret of the Clyte, widow from a previous marriage with Olivier of Halewijn, and had a son with her, John of Uitkerke, who like his father became councillor and chamberlain of the duke, but was beheaded on his orders at the castle of Saeftinghe in 1438.

After her second husband had also left her, Margareta van Maldeghem entered into a third marriage with Rogier de Tollenaere, lord of de Muere and Lammene, son of Jan and Margareta van Steenhuyse. Rogier de Tollenaere was previously married to Jeanne de Poucques, daughter of Eulard, lord of Houplines and Molimont, and of Maria de Fléchin. Margareta van Maldeghem died about 1413.
