Heinrick Funk Jr, oldest son of Henry (Heinrich) Funk, was born in Germany about 1688, arrived in Pennsylvania in 1717 with his father and probably married sometime after arriving.
Henry received 200 acres of his father's land in 1735, but himself, died only a year later. He wrote a Will October 7, 1736, naming his wife, Margaret, his oldest son, John, was to receive 120 acres of land and son, Martin, to receive the remaining 80 acres. The other children were Magdalena, Barbara and Henry. All of the children were minors.
The family name of Margaret is not known, but she married Andrew Miller in 1738 and a third marriage to a Mr. Burkholder before 1762.

There is no known records whatsoever regarding his mother, the wife of Heinrich Funk, Sr.
There is obvious confusion between this Heinrich (Henry) and the family of Bishop Henry Funk of Montgomery County. The eight children of Heinrich (Henry), of Conestoga, probably in order of birth (by gender) are sons: Henry Jr. (eldest son), Hans (John), Martin, Jacob and Samuel; daughters: Barbara,[3] wife of Michael Meyer, Mary, wife of Jacob Nissley, and Franey, wife of Jost Musser. "Manor" Henry Funk, is a later immigrant who settled in Manor Township, Lancaster County. He is not a son or grandson of Henry of Conestoga.
