Margaretha (Johnson) Janzen

From books and as told to me by Margaret Teichreb in Nipawin, Saskatchewan in 2007.

She was unmarried when she had her daughter, Catharina March 4, 1891.

Catharina was raised by Margaretha's sister, Justine, who was married to Johann Baerg.

Margaretha and Johan Janzen had six children.

Their youngest child was born March 4, 1906 - after Johan died.

Margaretha signed a quit claim deed for the property in Polk Co., OR on January 31, 1906. A witness was Jacob Nickel - Frank's father-in-law.

Johan and Margaretha's first born son died when he was 1 month old - in 1894.

The remaining five children died in Manitoba in 1908 - May 11, Aug 13, 28 and 30 and Sep 4. I don't know the cause of their deaths.

Margaretha married Wilhelm Reimer in 1909.

Wilhelm had 11 children with his first wife.

Wilhelm's children were raised by a relative in Manitoba.

Wilhelm and Margaretha went to Saskatchewan - Lost River near Nipawin.

Margaretha's daughter, Catharina married Alvin Kube in Manitoba and at some point went to Lost River near Nipawin, SK.
