the family estate at Poundisford was inherited by Robert Hill, Roger's first-born by his 2nd wife, Margery Toose, younger sister of Alice (Toose) Hill, who must have died between 1518 and 1522.

In 1523, Roger Hill married Margery Toose. They had 5 children:
