Margery Monins

Some genealogies show her name as Jane. However, the only daughter mentioned in Thomas Aldy's will is "Margery." Jane was the name of John Monins' second wife, mentioned in his will.

By 1535 Margaret was in possession of Exherst, and by 1545 she was the sole heir of Thomas Aldy to appear (along with her cousins) in a legal action involving the manor of Checker. It would appear that her brother Edward died, making her sole heir.
