Margie Marie Howard Ward, 99, of Bledsoe passed away Monday, January 19, 2015, at the Harlan App. Reg. Hospital. Born October 17, 1915 in Harlan County, she was a homemaker and a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Ward; her parents, Elijah J. Howard and Elizabeth Forrester Howard; two sons, Russell Ward and Charles Ward; and several brothers and sisters.

Margie is survived by five children, Nelson Ward, Westmont, IL; Coleen Bellanger, Highland Ranch, Colorado; Wanda Russell, Salem, IL; Ronald Ward, Bledsoe and Sharon Spurlock, Harrogate, TN. Also surviving are several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 12 unto 1 p.m. Saturday, January 24, 2015, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses Church located off Hwy. 119 at Nolansburg with a memorial service starting at 1 p.m. with Charles Ramsey and Terry Ramsey officiating.
