             Matthew, Mark and Luke and John   And peace abide with you.   Lighthouses

             keep an ancient watch   Until your night is through.     Now lay aside day's

             childish things,   The kaleidoscope's bright showers   The stars will pattern out

             the night   With thinner brighter flowers.     Waves come on quiet with the dark

             With mysteries to keep.   Orion treads his silent arc   Across the span of

             sleep.     And Matthew, Mark and Luke and John,   Until your night is through,

             And a lonely bell-buoy on a reef   Will stand the watch for you.
