Marguerite Edna Ferbos

Marguerite Edna Gilyot-Ferbos, a native New Orleanian for 96 years.

Beloved wife of Lionel C. Ferbos, Sr with whom she was joyfully married for a phenomenal 75 years. They shared a love that was truthfully made in heaven.

Mother of Sylvia Ferbos Schexnayder and the late Lionel C. Ferbos, Jr. Mother-in-law of Willie Mae "Micki" Ferbos. Grand mother of Lori Schexnayder, Ron Schexnayder (L'Herisse), Mia S. Davis (Spencer), Krystle Ferbos and Carl Quijano, Jr. Great-grandmother of Leah Labat and Paris Davis. Sister of Clea Williams, Jeanne' Reimonenq, Desdune Gilyot, Jr. Anna Mae Hubbord, Barbara Neveu and the late Walter Gilyot, Raymond Gilyot, Leo Gilyot, Joycelyn Brown, Laverne Amedee, Helen Theodore, Rosemary Girard. Also survived by a host of nieces, nephews & the Gilyot, Amedee, Girard, Williams and Reiite.

She worked for Haspel Brother's Suit factory for 60 years.

Relatives and friends of the family, also priests and parishoniers of Corpus Christi-Epiphany Catholic Church are invited to attend the service. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at Corpus Christi - Epiphany Catholic Church, 2022 St. Bernard Ave.

Interment: Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
