Doña Maria Alfonfo de Soufa Chichorro cafó, as stated by Count Don Pedro, with Gonzalo Añez de Briteyros, Rich-man of Portugal, Major Border between Duero and Miño by the mercy of King Don Dionis. He was the son of Don Juan Rodriguez de Briteyros, younger brother of D. Men Rodriguez de Briteyros, who was the father of Juan Mendez de Briteyros, of whom D. Gonzalo Añez came to his cousin-brother: they were all Rich-men. Gonzalo Añez was the brother-in-law of Fernan Sanchez, illegitimate son of King D. Dionis, with whom he was a sister Doña Froyle, or Froylana. Juan Mendez was the brother-in-law of King Don Dionif, with his sister Doña Urraca Alfonfo. Others of Doña Froyle, also Gonzalo Añez had as sister Doña Aldonza Añez de Briteyros, Abadefa of the Convent of Arouca, from which all the descendants of Don Martin Alfonfo de Soufa, third of the name, as faith you will see in the following paragraph. Doña Maria Alfonfo de Soufa Chichorro cafó, como afirma el Conde Don Pedro, con Gonzalo Añez de Briteyros, Rico-hombre de Portugal, Frontero mayor de entre Duero y Miño por merced del Rey Don Dionis. Era hijo de Don Juan Rodriguez de Briteyros, hermano menor de D. Men Rodriguez de Briteyros, que era padre de Juan Mendez de Briteyros, de quien D. Gonzalo Añez venia á fer primo-hermano: todos eran Ricos-hombres. Gonzalo Añez era cuñado de Fernan Sanchez, hijo ilegitimo del Rey D. Dionis, con quien eftaba cafada fu hermana Doña Froyle, ó Froylana. Juan Mendez era cuñado del Rey Don Dionif, cafado con fu hermana Doña Urraca Alfonfo. Demas de Doña Froyle, tuvo tamien Gonzalo Añez por hermana á Doña Aldonza Añez de Briteyros, Abadefa del Convento de Arouca, dq uein proceden todos los defcendientes de Don Martin Alfonfo de Soufa, tercero del nombre, como fe verá en el parrafo siguiente. En tiempo del Rey Don Alonfo IV juftificó Gonzalo Añez la honra de la Quinta que fu padre Don Juan Rodriguez tenia en la Feligrefia de San Salvador de Briteyros del Juzgado de Guimaraens; y fe entendian por honras en aquel tiempo lso cotos y territorios privilegiados de tributos y Jufticias Reales, como fe explica en la 5 part.
