Maria Telesfora Padilla Valencia

She was the twin sister of Juan Carlos Valencia y Padilla. She entered the Augustinian nunnery at the age of 21. On their way back to Paombong, Bulacan, she and two of her fellow young nuns were were raped and were murdered by Spaniards at Malolos because of they refused to leave the nunnery to marry them. Their bodies were just found floating in Pasig River along Sta. Cruz, Manila at the break of dawn on 27 February 1845.
