Maria Teresa de Lima

BIOGRAPHICAL NOTE:

Maria Theresa Josephine de Ga, daughter of Anthony George and Angela de Ga, was born about October 1849, probably in Bombay, India. On January 21st., 1867, in the Chapel of St. Teresa, Girgaum, Bombay, she married her second cousin, Joseph Aloysius de Lima; both of them were great grand children of Sir Michael de Lima e Souza. Joseph was born about 1846, a son of Michael Machado de Lima e Souza and Matilda Josepha Pereira. Joseph died before 1902. Maria Theresa, the relict of the late Joseph Aloysius de Lima, died aged 61 years and 4 months, according to her mortuary card, on February 13th., 1911, at Nesbit Lane, Mazagaon, Bombay. They had issue.
