details of death: In 1901 jailed by Germans in a so‑called „filomats process”. In 09.1939, after German aggression, prompted by his parishioners, went into hiding in Zalesie Górne n. Warsaw, later in German‑run General Governorate. Could not return (his vicar was murdered by the Germans and the church closed) and perished in Zalesie.
