Winona Republican-Herald, page 3, Thursday Feb. 13, 1947 Obituary Death of Mrs. Mary Grzona
Mrs. Mary Grzona, 89, 951 East Fifth street, died at 6 a.m. at the Winona General Hospital after an illness of one year. Mrs. Grzona was born in Poland November 22, 1857, and came to Winona from there 64 years ago. She was a member of the Holy Rosary society of St. Stanislaus church.
Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Joseph Langowski, Winona; Mrs. Agnes Formey, Madison, Wis., whom she raised from an infant; one sister, Mrs Katherine Pietrek, Ashland Wis.; one brother, William Rombalski, Centralia, Wash., and three grandchildren, Mrs. William (Bernadine) Grindland, Winona; Miss Felicia Langowski, Rochester, and Richard Langowski, Winona.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. Stanislaus church, the Rev N.F. Grulkowski officiating. Preliminary services will be at the Watkowski funeral home today and Friday at 7:30 p.m. with Father Grulkowski leading the rosary Friday. Friends may call today and after 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
