About Mariano Llanera
Mariano Nuñez Llanera was a Filipino revolutionary general who was among the fathers of The Cry of Nueva Ecija in 1896. He served as capitan municipal of Cabiao before the revolution. He was designated Lieutenant General of the Katipunan after Andres Bonifacio's death. He accompanied Aguinaldo when the revolutionary government was exiled to Hong Kong. And he was deported to Guam with Artemio Ricarte after they were captured during the Philippine-American War.
