Services for Marie A. Eder, 90, Eudora, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Holy Family Catholic Church in Eudora. Burial will be at Holy Family Catholic Cemetery.

Mrs. Eder died Monday, June 10, 1996, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital. She was born Dec. 19, 1905, in Zarah, the daughter of Thomas P. and Anna Schubert Fanning.

Mrs. Eder, a homemaker, had lived in Eudora for many years. She was a teacher before her marriage. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and its St. Theresa Society.

She married Fred Eder on June 5, 1929, in Eudora. He died Dec. 29, 1978.

Survivors include five daughters, Mary Delene Born and Marjorie Ann Eder, both of Eudora, Shirley Marie Koldoff, Berwyn, Ill., Patricia Lucille Pfeiffer and Kathryn Rose Sutton, both of St. Charles, Mo.; 15 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, George Eder.

The family will meet with friends from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. today at Warren-McElwain Mortuary, where a parish rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today. The family suggests memorials to the St. Theresa Society or the Douglas County Heart Fund. They may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary, which is in charge of arrangements.
