About Marie Horracks-Brown (Mitchell)
Maria Mitchell (14 April 1843 Liverpool, Lancashire, England - 19 February 1923), daughter of Hezekiah Mitchell and Sarah Mallinson, was the sister of Lovina Mitchell, James Brown's eleventh wife. She married (1) Capt. James Brown on 19 September 1861 in the Salt Lake Endowment House. The sealing was performed by Daniel H. Wells, with Brigham Young as a witness. She married (2) Edward Gregory Horrocks on 4 June 1864, after the death of Capt. Brown. No children.
