Nicolas Lebel, born around 1632, son of Clément and Françoise Lagnel, of the parish of St-Léger and St-Louis, Yville-sur-Seine, arrondissement of Rouen, married at Château-Richer, on November 28, 1662, (contract Auber, November 27) to Marie Drouin, baptized September 18, 1650, daughter of Robert and Marie Chapelier. On her way to Ste-Anne-de-Beaupré, to do her devotions, Marie Drouin drowned in Rivière-aux-Chiens on May 2, 1664. Nicolas Lebel married a second time at Château-Richer on 2 April 1665, (Auber contract, March 29) to Thérèse Mignot, baptized on September 9, 1651, daughter of Jean Mignot dit Chatillon and Louise Cloutier.
