Stephen A. White states that Renee came to Acadia with her husband, Vincent Brun. White give her name as BREAU. White also states that the baptism records of her two daughters are in the registers of the "parish of La Chaussee, in the present department of Vienne (France). This might be the birth place of Renee as well. I have found this surname, BROT, listed as BRUOT, BRAULT, BREAUX, and BRODE.
