About Marindy Jane Holland
There is some confusion regarding her name. She is listed on the death certificate of daughter Zerilda H. Mizell as Jane Rouse. On the death certificate of daughter Ellen's as Jane Dubose, and on daughter Sallie H. Entrekin's as Maranda Reeves. The 1850 census gives her name as Jane while the 1860 census shows her name to be Marinda. Her grave marker reads Marindy J. Holland.
