Funeral Services were held Saturday for Mario Ambra, 80, a Mountain View resident since 1929.
Ambra lived at 987 N. Rengstorff Ave., Mountain View, with his wife, Sarah. He was a retired carpenter.
A native of Italy, Ambra emigrated to the United States in 1905. He died last week at El Camino Hospital, Mountain View.
He is survived by his wife; five children, Mary Trent of Oakland, Sabastian Ambra of Hillsborough, Joseph Ambra of Mountain View, Sarah Poechmann of Las Vegas, Nevada, and Concetto Ambra of Mountain View; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
