Marion Campbell, died at the home of his father-in-law, Omer Davis, 407 Wilson Street at 3 o'clock this morning. Mr. Campbell had been sick 7 weeks and the immediate cause of his death was pneumonia.
He was born in this county October 7, 1893 and was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Marion Campbell. He married Miss Edna Davis in February 1914.
He belonged to the Red Men and Hay Makers and was a member of Memorial Chapel. Having spent his entire life in this county he was well and favorable known and his death occasions great distress to his family and deep regrets to his many friends.
Mr. Campbell is survived by his wife, one son, Lyle, 3 years old, two brothers, Carl and Claude, four sisters, Mrs. Ollie Broach and Kate Campbell of this city, Mrs. Marie Brann, Ladoga, Mrs. Pearl Shafer, of Duluth, MN and his mother.
Funeral services will be at the Union Brethren Church Sunday afternoon, Rev. WN Sherrill officiating and interment will be made in Oak Hill Cemetery.
