Marion Houghton Hepburn was born on April 24, 1918 in Hartford, CT. She was the daughter of Dr. Thomas Norval Hepburn M.D. and Katharine Martha Houghton. She was a Connecticut historian, activist for the disadvantaged, co-founder of the Greater Hartford Urban League, and the 1949-1950 president of the Junior League of Hartford.
