Marion Zerkowitz was married to Sigmund Guensberger on 3 June 1906. They had two daughters, Elfriede (b. 1907) and Gertrude (b. 1908), then were divorced on 7 June 1920. However, in 1921, they remarried and a third daughter, Grete, was born in August 1922.

Marion (Zerkowitz) Guensberger was a Holocaust victim, murdered with many others in the Lodz ghetto (Litzmannstadt) in 1941. A memorial to her was later erected in Vienna by her brothers, Dr. Maximilian Zerkowitz of California, Oscar Zerk of Kenosha, Wisconsin and Adolf Zerkovitz of Barcelona, Spain.
