MEMORIAL PHOTOS 1 FLOWERS 3 Mrs. Marion Darlene Anderson Melton, 52 of Blackshear, passed away Tuesday, February 11, 2014, at her residence.

Born in Blackshear, GA on September 22, 1961, she had lived in Pierce County all of her life. Mrs. Melton was a CNA and had worked for the former Ware Manor Nursing Home for several years. She was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church. Mrs. Melton enjoyed flowers and sewing and loved spending time with her grandchildren.

She was a daughter of the late Marion Warren Anderson and was also preceded in death by 3 infant sons, Rickie Lamar Melton, II, George Christopher Davis and William Elmer Davis, Jr.

Survivors include her husband, Rickie Lamar Melton of Blackshear; two step-daughters, Crystal Gail (Carl) McLeod and Tina (William) Shannon all of Blackshear; a step-son, Timothy (Crystal) Davis of Blackshear; her mother, Juan Godwin Anderson (Calvin Boyett) of Patterson; four sisters, Marie (Dwain) Pippin, Sandy Wood, June (Michael) Logsdon and Missy (Jason) Johnson all of Blackshear; her brother, Glynn (Rhonda) Anderson of Blackshear; 10 grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews & other relatives.

Visitation for Mrs. Melton will be held Thursday evening from 6 until 8 at the funeral home.

Funeral services for Mrs. Melton will be held at 11:00 o'clock Friday morning, February 14, 2014, at the Pearson-Dial Chapel.

Interment will be in the Jordan Cemetery in Ware County.
