According to Richard Gwynallen, Marion Scot, here treated, is the daughter of Lawrence Scot and Elizabeth Pringle. She is said by him to have married Thomas Watt. The Kitchen Table ~ A family history website edited by Richard Gwynallen This runs contrary to the Stirnet account of the family of Lawrence Scott and Elizabeth Pringle which proposes a marriage between [ Marion ] Scott and Richard Lauder of Hatton, Stirnet: Scott 12 who is said to have been buried on 29 November 1675.
