Ed Thorn, 79, of Huntington Beach, CA passed away Friday February 21, 2014. Ed is survived by his wife of 40 years Nita, 4 children, Ed Thorn, Jr (Annette); Marsha Parker Morrow (Keith) Todd Parker (Janet) and Stacey Parker (Stacy) 10 grandchildren, 9 boys, Eric Thorn, Parker, Tyler and Connor Morrow, Jake, Luke, Colton, Cade and Broc Parker, one girl Victoria Thorn. In addition, he is survived by his sister Janice Alley Reeves (Bobbie) and numerous nieces and nephews.

His parents James F and Alma Ruth Thorn, brother, Durwood and sister Anita Thorn Hicks, precede Ed in death.

Memorial services for Ed will be at Heritage Funeral Home, 9721 Highway 63, Moss Point, MS 39562 on March 29, 2014 at 11:00 am

In lieu of flowers the family is asking that memorial donations be made to the Hoag Hospital Foundation, C/O Hoag Family Cancer Institute, 500 Superior Avenue Suite 350, Newport Beach, CA 92663.

Heritage Funeral Home of Moss-Point Escatawpa is in charge of local arrangements.
