Marshall Francis Cowen, Jr

John M. Cowen Sr., was the husband of Janice (Munyon) Cowen. He was born in Medway, MA son of the late Marshall and Gladys (Whitehouse) Cowen.

Mr. Cowen was a U.S.Army Veteran having served in Germany in the Signal Corps Division during the Korean War. He was the Head Custodian of Maintenance for the Hopedale School System for 26 years and very active in the Hopedale Community. After retirement he joined his son’s business Classic Tile, Inc.

Marshall and his wife have 5 children: Cheryl Vignone and her husband Peter of Hopedale, MA; Debbie Tierney of Milford, MA; Cynthia Connolly and her husband Mark of Bellingham, MA; John M. Cowen Jr. and his wife Lindsey of Hopedale, MA; James Cowen and his wife Joy of Mendon, MA; 10 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren with another on the way; and 7 siblings: Ronald Cowen, Robert Cowen, William Cowen, Mildred O’Toole, Doris Cugini, Nancy Grosser and Shirley Bonvino.
