About Marta Bovin, Boveng

I Lövsta bruks bok står det år 1674, när Martas mor dör, att Johan Bovins svärmor dör. Inget namn anges. (source is from the year 1674.)

Regarding the question above of the mother of Marta Dubois, the mother,Marguerite Dubois(Dieu) was born in the Calais, Fr. area and then her husband Nicholas Dubois died there in 1652. But before 1642 daughter Marta Bovin and spouse had moved to Lovsta Sweden as well as a son. So from 1652 onwards everything happened to the family in Lovsta except where Marguerite died and was buried. I had a close personal friend in England who was a retired Church of England Vicar. I would tell him that I checked the Birth-marriage-death parish records and the Vicar would say, "no they are the CMB records: Christening-marriage-burial records because they had actually witnessed those events at the church and gave the Name of the Person. Now once I visited a church in Worcestershire, England on the same day I had seen the birth parish registers for the 1600s. I asked the vicar if I could inspect the church records not found in the county record office. He got them out for me and helped me find the entries I was looking for. There were several entries I was looking for because we had an actual family quote about Willliam Stubbs from that church that he was a Captain of Horse. The church records stated that William Stubbs, the ancestor I was looking for, was a Captain of Horse for the royal army in their county in the time of the Civil War and had fought close by in battle. Another entry told of where his farm was located and when his son moved to a nearby town. A last entry told of when he was warden for that church. The entries in the Lovsta church remind me of these more personal entries in the Worcestershire church.[1674 Marta Bouvin´s mother dies: "Johan Bouvin´s mother in law dies".] Her name is not written in any source there. So1674 Marguerite Dubois(Dieu) dies and that was 22 years after her husband died in France. That would be plenty of years for her to join several of her childrens' families in Lovsta for decades, but it really does not sound like she died there or was buried there. Her name is not officially recorded there connected with her death or anything. It appears to just be a personal event of importance to the church and Marta and Johan, members of the church. So Marguerite(the mother of Marta) still could have very well died in Nord-Pas-de-Calais France and been buried beside her husband. So that answers the question that if Marguerite Dubois (Dieu) died in Sweden then how could she have descended from the French Dieu's? Or her being in Sweden would seem to imply that Marta Bouvin's family really came from Sweden from ancient times. This is not so. They moved to Sweden just before 1642.

And Marguerite still apparently died where she was born, in Nord-Pas-de-Calais, France after living for awhile with her daughter in Lovsta Bruk, Sweden. Plus the grandparents of Margareta, the Bouvin's and the Tillman parents of Phillip Tillman, were born in Walloon area of Belgium and died in Lovsta Bruk, Sweden. So the Calais to Belgium to Lovsta Bruk, Sweden connection is proven, even the connection to Marguerite Dieu is then proven by the slight 1674 reference to her in the church of Lovsta's records. This confirms also that Phillip Nicolasson Tillman truly married Margareta Bouvin by the movements of their parents and that Margareta was born in Lovsta Bruk, Sweden in 1646 and died 1722 in Lovsta Bruk, Sweden where Phillip Tillman was born and died.
