In the Masachusetts Vital Records[1], we learn that Preserved "Aulger" and Martha Pefeny, both of Swansea, were married December 9, 1730. But it says that someone wrote in hand on the same record "Tiffany". It is possible that this Martha is the same person as Martha Pafeny, who married Preserved Alger.
