About Martha Beaven

Biography

https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Paca-2

Martha Paca was born in 1654. She is said to be the daughter of Robert Paca, however, she is not named in Robert's 1681 will:.

Robert Peaker, Anne Arundel County. Will written 26th April, 1681. [2]

  • To son Aquila, 345a., home plantation
  • Wife Mary, execx
  • Test: Katharine Goodbury, Wm. White..

Sometime before Lionel Paully's death in 1671, Martha Paca married him. If she was born in 1654, she would have been 17 in 1671, and her marriage could not have been much earlier, perhaps age 15 in 1669 or 16 in 1670. There is no evidence there were any children from Martha's marriage to Lionell. Lionell's arrival in Maryland appears to have been in about 1669.

In 1672 Martha, widow of Lyonell Pauley married Charles Beaven. This is a conclusion based on Lyonell Pauley's will.

Charles Beaven and his wife Martha Paca had the following children:

  1. Richard Beaven, b. Calvert Co, MD abt 1676 m. Mary Blandford
  2. Sarah, b. Calvert Co, MD abt 1678. Prince George County, Maryland; Marriage: aft 20 Jun 1698 Thomas Blandford, Prince George County, Maryland; Death: aft 1749
