Martha Butts

Probably died in early life. The only trace we have of her is her signature to the settlement of her father's estate. The History of King Philip's War speaks of Mrs. Rothbotham as only surviving daughter.

Biography

Martha Church was born in 1688 in Rhode Island[1] . Some sources list her parents as Benjamin Church and Alice Southworth.[2] Some researchers believe this is not correct. For more information, see Martha Church She married Idido Butts in 1713 in Rhode Island[3] She died on July 17, 1757, in Rhode Island, at the age of 69.
